New Toy Train Launched From 26 January Republic Day 2019, Kalka to Shimla

Shimla: Indian Railway launched special toy train between Kalka to Shimla route and it has been started from 26th January on Republic Day 2019. The good news for tourists who love to travel mountain places like Shimla. Now they can travel on the train via Kalka to Shimla.

Recently Shimla-Kalka toy train added glass roof vistadome coach to provide a clear view to tourists so that they can feel the Thrill. Check out the latest facilities, timing, and ticket fare of new toy train below.

Northern Indian Railway’s Ambala Division has launched a new toy train and the first ride has started from Kalka to Shimla from 26 January 2019. The newly launched toy train has a total of 6 Coaches and 102 seats. Although the train will be on a trial run of six months on the route.  And the further decision on its run will be made on the basis of the response of the traveler. All the coaches of the train are air-conditioned and wooden flooring with seat upholstery.

Along with these facilities, Kalka-Shimla new train has western commode washroom fittings. And the windows are wider with roller blinds and their body will be of vinyl finish

Check the Timing and Ticket Fare of New Toy Train:

The scheduled timing of the new toy train Kalka to Shimla train number 52459 has started from Kalka at around 5.10 am and reached Shimla by 9.50 am. And the evening train number 52460 has departed from Shimla at 5.25 pm and arrived at Kalka around 10.05 pm.

As far as the ticket fare of newly launched toy train Kalka-Shimla is concerned, passengers have to spend a total of Rs. 630 INR. Also, the authorized body is planning to have vestinule coaches like Shatabdi in this route.
