Yuksom is a historic town that was the ancient capital of Sikkim. It is a place that is known its natural beauty, snowcapped mountains, beautiful monasteries, and amazing trekking trails. Located 2,750 meters above the sea level, Lachen offers some of the most beautiful natural landscapes in Sikkim. Its pine covered hills, serene grasslands, and vibrant apple orchards make this a unique destination for those who are looking for a quiet getaway. If you travel just 8 KM towards Damthang from Ravangla, you will come across a point where you can catch the first few rays of sun lightening up the snow covered peaks of Rathon, Jopuno, Kabru, Pandim, and Narsing. 

It is one of the best sunrise in the world. Just 16 km from Ravangla, you will find the most beautiful tea garden in the world- The Temi Tea Garden. As you travel through the winding road that takes you to this beautiful tea garden, you will wonder out aloud if there is any other place on earth that is as serene and beautiful as this. If you an adventure lover, you must trek through the amazing Tendon Sanctuary to reach a dormant volcano. 

The view of the Kanchenjunga and Singalila range from here is jaw dropping awesome. Ralang is home to a hot Sulphur spring that is one hour walking distance away from the Ralang Monastery. The hot spring is located in the Rangit Valley and is known for its medicinal property and peaceful surroundings.


Namchi, which translates into ‘top of the sky,’ is a small town in Sikkim where nature has bestowed its best to humanity. Abundant with natural beauty, Namchi offers best views of Kalimpong Hills and Darjeeling. It is a place that is full of beautiful Buddhist monasteries. Since it is a sparsely populated place, you can find solitude almost anywhere here.
