America will get its COVID-19 vaccines by March 2021
Alex Azar, the Secretary of health and Human services said that the US is expected to have enough coronavirus vaccine doses by March 2021. Azar recorded this statement on Thursday while delivering a keynote speech at the Goldman Sachs Healthcare virtual event. As per the reports of the official, the US COVID-19 vaccine program “Operation Warp Speed” is expected to produce around 100 million doses of vaccines by the end of this year 2020.

Azar also said that this amount of dose is enough to cover the vulnerable population of America. They ensure that every American will get the COVID-19 vaccine by the month of March 2021. The country is currently manufacturing a pack of all six potential vaccine manufacturers and this program is backed by the American government. The country is manufacturing vaccines in collaboration with big pharmaceutical companies such as Pfizer, Moderna, Astra Zeneca, and Johnson & Johnson which are in the third stage of the trail.
As per the statement of the Health and Human Services Secretary, the US has already started to arrange syringes, needles, bottles, and other supplies which are important for immunization. It has also been expected that the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention of America will make this vaccine doses free for the people of America. However, under this plan, it is expected that the CDC will give initial authorization for emergency use only before it becomes available for formal approval.
Under the plan, the CDC anticipates a coronavirus vaccine will initially be granted an emergency use authorization before a full formal approval.
The US continues to lead the world with the highest number of coronavirus cases and deaths.
